At every Australian National Square Dance Convention, a Dancers Interest Meeting (DIM) is to be held. This meeting provides an important opportunity for dancers to express their views on matters relating to future Australian National Conventions.
It also serves as a forum for receiving reports from relevant national bodies and organisations involved in the wider Square Dance community.

The DIM ensures that dancers, who are at the heart of every Convention, have a direct voice in shaping the direction, standards, and priorities of future events.

To support the planning and conduct of this meeting, an Agenda Template is provided below.
Although the Australian National Square Dance Conventions Board Inc. oversees the DIM and maintains responsibility for its overall framework, each Convention Committee must make provision for the meeting within their planning and programme.
This includes scheduling an appropriate time, arranging a suitable venue, and ensuring that all required reports and materials are available on the day.
